POSITION DESCRIPTION:

North Mara Gold Mine Limited is seeking to recruit one (01) Project Manager to join North Mara Gold Mine crew. The a success candidate for this position will document to Engineering Manager and the position holder will be involved in initiation, making plans, execution, tracking/control and closure of capital and upkeep-primarily based projects, to meet organization enterprise goals according with Barrick – North Gold Mine, Capex and Opex plans at the same time as adhering to environmental, health and safety policies.

Reporting to: Engineering Manager.

Work Schedule: Rotation Status (fifty six days on 28 days off).

Contract Duration: 02 years

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance:

Ensure the compliance to all regulatory and Barrick fitness, safety and environmental rules and techniques.

Ensure all incidents are suggested and investigated in keeping with method and on time.

Participate inside the Management of Change technique and implementation of technical tasks.

Ensure compliance to all Rules, Regulations/ Standards and Policies whilst executing obligations.

Ensure the Maintenance crew and associated contractors have all of the necessary, methods, device, work practices and equipment to paintings thoroughly.

Core capabilities:

Assessment of current and future undertaking systems

Assessment of current settlement management structures and approaches,

Compilation of a challenge execution plans detailing present day and future requirements with proposed timelines

To increase solutions to engineering problems which meet or exceed assignment requirements

Manage consultants and specialists

Managing projects in multi-disciplinary surroundings

Provide technical interface with system suppliers and contractors

Activity and Resource making plans

Preparation of venture scopes of works for multidisciplinary undertaking obligations.

Work with branch supervisor or his designate in developing initiatives plan, budget and schedules.

Manage price, agenda and nice control features.

Participate in the projects risks evaluation and assist inside the development of hazard management plans.

Provide technical assistance to group members

Work with projects group in making plans and executing assigned technical projects.

Project reviews preparations and writing.

Co-ordinate and supervise venture installations, commissioning and trying out.

Develop Job information database and make certain information integrity within the system.

Ensure purchase requisitions raised appropriately and on time.

Ensure the Technical Integrity and consistency of design output

Manage the QA/ QC capabilities

Ensure right alternate control and operational readiness

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Qualification Requirements:                                                                        

Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering.

Project Management Certification might be effective.

Highly numerate, with strong economic management.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 10 years’ revel in with at least five years in a Project Management Role.

Highly gifted in Project Management ideas, strategies, strategies and tools.

Work revel in in big scale multidisciplinary projects in extra of USD 10,000,000.

Working understanding of electrical, mechanical, civil and instrumentation structures.

Experience in developing assignment schedules and plans through using MS Project or equivalent.

Ability to work in a crew and continue to be expert always.

Experience in the Mining Industry can be an delivered benefit.

Experience in method plant, paste backfill plant, pump stations and different constant plant creation.

Skills / Knowledge Requirements:

Extensive understanding of Microsoft Office packages.

Engineering codes, requirements, legislation and guidelines.

Tender, adjudication and awarding tactics for technical and industrial.

Broad Knowledge of All Engineering Design & Principles.Ability to undertake and work and underneath tight schedules.
